HAPPY EASTER, Everyone, hope you all have a great one this weekend...

Since Easter is a time for celebrating those that were once dead but now walk amongst the living again (the resurrected dead, if you will), I thought I'd use this Holiday as an excuse to post a couple more WIP shots from my upcoming Zombie project.

Just remember... to a Zombie 'you're' the Chocolate Egg and everyday is Easter.

Merry Christmas 2023.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas for tomorrow. Hope you all have a great one this year and enjoy yourselves.

I've had my own mini-Christmas miracle just recently while checking on my Cactus Seedlings to see how they were holding up against the Winter cold this weekend. I saw that one of them had out of nowhere grown and covered itself in tiny white hair.

It's gone from looking like a cute little Baby Cactus, to looking like a tiny Furball coughed up by Santa and all just in time for the Festive Season. 🎅🎄

Doctor Who Cover.

Thought I'd just share the results of something I cooked up recently while playing around with a Doctor Who Cover template page this week. When I 'Edited' the Doctor out of my recent Fourth Doctor vs the Tentacle Monster from Space-1999 Pin-Up and had a go at making a 'Faux Cover'.

Sadly the original Pin-Up was in landscape and the Doctor himself was actually pretty small in the artwork, so I had to zoom in a bit, which is why the Art looks a bit 'blocky'. But I still think it makes for a Fun Cover, even if the Villain is 'off-page' and reduce to just a pair of Tentacles creeping into shot.

I think it still kinds of works... kind of...

I wish I had more time to do 'Fan-Art' and could maybe have a proper crack at doing a Doctor Who Cover sometime. I'd really love to do a Cybermen Cover one day.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2023.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Halloween this October, and hope you're all having spooky fun this All Hallows Eve. 🎃

I have to say this is probably the best Halloween I've had for a few years now. Differently since Covid. I've watched some really good Horror movies and have an exciting new secret Horror project on the go. It's been a fun month and I will be sad to see it end next week.

Also thanks to anyone who showed my recent old and new Halloween Vampire and Werewolf photos some love. It's been nice to start to talk to friends about what they're dressing up as this Halloween again, and seeing Halloween outfits back in the shops. Plus just being able to do more active spooky stuff this year.

As for whether you're getting a 'Trick or a Treat' this year... well... Following up on last year's cut out 'Zombie Paperdolls', I've gone even more random this Halloween with my Art offering by doing cut out 'Zombie Bookmarks'. So curl up this October with a good Book and a Cadaver.

P.S. I hate to say it, but if Zombies ain't your thing... you might find 2024 hard going... I'm just saying. 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

One of the things I'm trying to get done during lockdown is to upgrade my home tech and move things forward with my colouring in 2020. And so as part of this, I finally bite the bullet and decided to invest in new colouring software. It's been a long time coming, and I know I've got a lot of hours of trying to figure out and master this new program ahead of me. Being a trained Graphic Designer, I was very comfortable using Photoshop for all these years, but it feels crazy not to at least try software made for comic book artists, and I feel a little annoyed you can't outright buy photoshop anymore and own it. I hope to have results I can share with people at some point soon, once I can find the time to get on there and play around with it more, and figure it out better. I was a little disappointed with the fonts that came with it, though. Was expecting a big list of fancy new comic book style fonts, but the ones included are pretty vanilla. I know it’s more a question that should wait until colder weather and darker nights. More a riddle for Halloween time, maybe. But I have to ask… does anyone know a good way of attaching Vampire Fangs? I have prop fangs… I have real canine teeth… but I’m struggling to bring them together. I am not looking forward to the coming weeks as the ‘eye of the Corona Virus storm’ hits the UK. For a start, I’ve got nothing to connect me to the outside world and the rest of the human-race in the foreseeable future but a really old and out-of-date laptop, and poor internet services that’s getting more unreliable with each passing day. I kind of wish modern games wouldn’t tell you how much time you’ve been playing a game when you save these days. A big part of me doesn’t wanna know I’ve played nearly seventeen hours of Doom 3 recently over the pass three or four weeks.
